This 1972 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton long
bed, fleet side 2 wheel drive pickup. This is a show quality truck that has had
extensive restoration and customization work. Paint and body work have been
professionally done by Rob Blagg and show excellent quality workmanship. The
body is very straight, and the paint is uniformly colored with a smooth glossy
deep finish. Paint color is 1987 BMW red. All emblems have been removed for a
cleaned up original look. The truck has a lower stance and a cowl hood. It is
set off with a big little sized combination American Racing Wheel polished
Torque Thrust alloy wheels. Mechanically, the truck is powered by a
professionally built 1994 tuned port injection 350 V8 engine, and machine work
was done by Wikle. It has 1997 Chevrolet Vortec heads and a performance chip in
the computer. It has a street a performance built tuned Port injection unit with
a serpentine belt system. The transmission is a 700 R4 automatic with overdrive
that has been rebuilt and has a shift kit. The truck is also equipped with power
disk brakes, power steering, and a vintage Air Conditioning system. The engine
and transmission and other mechanical components have 104 miles on them as the
odometer represents mileage since restoration was completed. The engine
compartment has been highly detailed for a show quality appearance. The interior
has also been tastefully restored and modified for that mild custom look. It has
original appearing bench seat and door panels. It has been updated with a tilt
Ididit steering column, custom steering wheel and performance vintage style gage
package.
